Hi, I'm Fatimetou, the founder of K.BOX 💛

My story with Korean skincare started in 2020, during the COVID lockdown. I began watching Korean dramas, and soon I wanted to learn more about Korean culture: the music, the food, and the beauty routines. When I discovered Korean skincare, I was very interested right away.

At that time, I had problems with my skin. I tried many products, but they either irritated my skin or stopped working after a few weeks. Korean skincare was different. The formulas were gentle, the ingredients were carefully chosen, and the goal was to take care of the skin, not to fight it. I tried it, and after some time, my skin became healthy and calm again.

But there was one problem. To buy these products in Mauritania, I had to order them from other countries. The shipping was expensive and the delivery took a long time. I wanted to make it easier for myself and for everyone who wants skincare they can trust. So in 2024, I opened K.BOX in Nouakchott.

At K.BOX, we sell only Korean skincare. This is my choice and my promise. It is the skincare I use every day, and I have studied it for many years. I have personally tried many of the products we sell, and I carefully research every product before we add it to the shop. If I do not trust a product, we do not sell it.

I know that choosing skincare can be difficult. There are so many products: toners, essences, serums, creams. Where do you start? This is why we offer skin consultations. We take time to understand your skin and listen to your concerns. Then we help you create a simple routine that works for your skin and your daily life.

We also offer a special consultation for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. During this time, it is very important to know which ingredients are safe. We help you avoid ingredients that are not recommended and choose gentle, safe products, so you can continue to take care of yourself without worry.

When I am not at the shop, I love reading and baking. These passions taught me something I also believe about skincare: good results need time, good ingredients are important, and things made with care are always better.
